“XTM stood out because it made it possible and easy for all our freelancers to work on a single, centralized platform. This enables us to monitor progress, and after the completion of a job, we can easily allocate that license to another vendor. This makes my daily tasks a lot easier, and I can focus on other value-added tasks.”
Elisabeth Feulner

Localise any application with full visual context
Rigi Snapshot captures real application interfaces and turns them into in-context, translatable previews. Your localisation team gets the UI visibility they need to translate and review independently, without waiting on developers or working from static screenshots.

Tour Rigi Snapshot
Take the Rigi Snapshot product tour
Walk through how Rigi Snapshot converts a static screenshot into a fully translatable, in-context HTML preview. From the first capture to a reviewer working inside the real UI, without a single context query or engineering ticket.
Stop losing time to context queries
Every time a translator asks "where does this string appear?" or a reviewer flags a layout issue they can't verify, your release slows down. Rigi Snapshot gives localisation teams direct access to real application interfaces, so they can see exactly how content looks in the product and work without interruption.

Translate and review content in context
Rigi Snapshot converts captured application screens into interactive HTML previews that map directly to your translatable strings.
Translators and reviewers see exactly how their work will appear in the product, which means fewer errors, less rework, and faster sign-off.
Remove developer dependency
Most localisation delays happen because teams need engineering to provide context, generate screenshots, or verify UI behavior.
Rigi Snapshot puts that capability directly in the hands of localisation teams so engineers stay focused on product development.
Bring in-context localisation to every app
Traditional localisation tools only support web-based previews.
Rigi Snapshot works with any application you can capture on screen, including desktop software, mobile simulators, embedded device interfaces, and legacy systems.
Process hundreds of screens without manual effort
Drag and drop screenshots into Rigi Snapshot for batch conversion, or automate the entire workflow through the CLI.
Previews sync directly to your Rigi project, so your team always has up-to-date context across every screen in the application.

FAQs
What types of applications does Rigi Snapshot support?
Rigi Snapshot works with any application you can display on screen. That includes desktop software, mobile apps running in simulators or emulators, embedded device interfaces, and legacy systems. If your team can capture a screenshot of it, Rigi Snapshot can convert it into a translatable preview.
How does Rigi Snapshot detect translatable text in a screenshot?
Rigi Snapshot uses OCR to identify text within captured screens, then matches that text against the tokenised strings in your Rigi project. Matched strings become editable within the HTML preview, giving translators and reviewers direct in-context access.
Do we need developer support to set up or run Rigi Snapshot?
No. Rigi Snapshot is a standalone application for macOS and Windows. localisation teams can capture screens, generate previews, and upload them to Rigi without any involvement from engineering. A CLI option is also available for teams that want to automate the workflow.
Can we process multiple screens at once?
Yes. Rigi Snapshot supports batch processing through drag-and-drop and CLI workflows, so you can convert and upload large numbers of screens without processing them one at a time.
Does Rigi Snapshot replace our existing Rigi setup?
No. Rigi Snapshot extends your existing Rigi capabilities by adding support for non-web application environments. It ships as part of Rigi and connects to the same projects and workflows you already use.
Ready to eliminate context queries for good?
Give your localisation team full visual context across every application type, without adding to your engineering backlog.
