What is a localization iPaaS?

A localization iPaaS is an integration platform built for one job: moving content between your systems and translation workflows while keeping its structure, context, and metadata intact. A generic iPaaS treats translation as one use case among thousands; a localization iPaaS understands what makes content translatable and scales it with precision.

What is XTM Connect?

XTM Connect is XTM’s integration platform for localization. It connects the systems where your content lives to your translation workflows, automates content flows, and gives you visibility into every job from start to finish.

Does XTM Connect require XTM Cloud as our translation system?

No. XTM Connect works across the XTM platform. Each workflow is configured to route content to the right destination.

Does AI touch our content as it moves through Connect?

No. Connect moves content between systems; it does not process it with AI. If a workflow uses AI translation, processing happens in the XTM product and engine configured for that workflow. XTM products do not use customer content to train AI models.

Do we need developers to set up XTM Connect?

No. Our orchestration team handles setup and configuration. Development is only needed when you require a connection to a system outside our connector library.

Are the connectors included?

Standard connectors are included in the XTM package with no separate purchase. Some connectors are premium, such as Veeva Vault for life sciences. Premium connectors are clearly identified on their product pages.
